24 Hour Filmmaking Competition
Welcome to this year’s 24 Hour Film-Making Competition. This competition is for anyone interested in making films. It is open to anyone, on a limited budget, in any genre. If you have a device that records film then you’re good to go.
We all meet on Saturday the 12th May. Here, you and your filming crew will pick the following criteria out of a hat:
2. Place (will be in Chelmsford somewhere)
You will have that evening to discuss, plan and storyboard at the venue. You can use this time to ask our guest videographers for help and advice.
You will have the whole of Saturday part of Sunday to do your shooting/editing/composting.
Sunday will be the deadline for your submissions. You will have until 7pm to get your short film to us.
Your films will be showcased at the Cramphorn Theatre on Friday the 18th of May. The evening will start at 6:30 pm and will finish at around 10pm.
The final winner will be announced that evening and prizes will be given to the group that have produced the best film. There will also be an “audience’s favourite” prize.
